UCDngl
Report content or make a complaint
Draft last updated: 15 October 2026
Use this page to notify the individual who personally operates this independent, free service about content you believe is illegal, unsafe or in breach of the Community and content rules. The service is intended for UCD students but is not operated or endorsed by UCD. The operator must provide and monitor a working electronic contact channel; the placeholder below is deliberately not presented as a functioning form.
What to include in a notice
- The exact post URL or identifier, and enough detail to locate the content.
- A clear explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or violates the rules, including the relevant law where known.
- Your name and email address if you choose to provide them. Identification should not be demanded where it is not necessary, but may be needed to assess certain notices.
- A good-faith statement that the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
How to submit
Subject line suggestion: “Content notice — UCDngl”. Do not send passwords, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information.
What happens next
The operator should acknowledge receipt where appropriate, assess the notice promptly and diligently, take proportionate action where warranted, and keep a record of the decision. If content is restricted or removed, the operator should communicate the decision and reasons where required by law. False or abusive notices may be handled in accordance with applicable law and the service terms.
Urgent danger
This mailbox is not an emergency service and may not be monitored continuously. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services. If a child is at risk, contact the appropriate child-protection or law-enforcement authority.
Complaints about a decision
Explain the decision you are challenging, the relevant post identifier and why you believe it should be reconsidered. The operator must confirm the actual complaint/appeal process and any timelines required by law before launch.
