Cookies and similar technologies

Draft last updated: 15 October 2026

This page is a disclosure template and must be reconciled with the actual deployed site and provider configuration. Cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels and similar technologies can be regulated even when they are not called cookies.

What may be used

The service is currently intended to be free and does not need advertising trackers to provide paid features. This does not itself prove that the deployed site or its providers use no analytics or other tracking. The operator must test the live site and confirm the inventory below before publication.

The application may use strictly necessary session/security technologies to make the service function, maintain a session and protect against abuse. Hosting and security providers may also process technical request data. The operator must inventory all cookies and similar technologies, including those set by third parties, and publish their names, purposes, providers, duration and type after testing the live site.

Consent

Strictly necessary technologies may be used where permitted by law. Non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies must not be activated before valid consent where consent is required. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, unambiguous and as easy to withdraw as to give. Do not install optional trackers unless an appropriate consent mechanism is implemented.

Browser controls

You can manage some cookies through browser settings, but browser controls may not withdraw every form of consent or control all local storage. The operator should provide an accessible way to revisit or withdraw consent whenever optional technologies are used.
